Multi-Wing explicitly names the 4Z and 5Z profiles as their standard grain-dryer blades, with cast aluminium options rated for the 475°F hot-side of tower and column dryers. South Africa harvests around 16 million tonnes of maize plus wheat, soya, and sunflower each year, with Senwes, VKB, NWK, AFGRI, and GrainSA members running continuous-flow and batch dryers across the Free State, North West, and Mpumalanga maize belt. These fans run 12-16 hours a day during harvest and burn through blades from dust, husk abrasion, and occasional stones from the cleaning stage. Silo aeration fans run year-round at lower static pressure and typically use 4Z PAG. Hot-side tower dryer fans need 5Z aluminium blades to survive the temperature. We stock both in multiple diameters and rotations. When a dryer goes down during harvest you cannot wait 6 weeks for an imported OEM assembly — our blade kits ship from Johannesburg on a live courier rate, usually next-day to Bothaville, Lichtenburg, Bethlehem, Ermelo, Delmas, Standerton, and the rest of the grain belt. Blades are supplied uncut so you can trim to match your existing fan diameter on site.
